The National Association for Media Literacy Education’s Youth Advisory Council partnered with Roblox’s Youth Advisory Council to create a series of short videos highlighting how media literacy skills can help keep young people safe and empowered on Roblox.
Through this collaboration, teen council members from both organizations worked together to share practical tips that encourage Roblox users to think critically, make informed choices, and engage responsibly on the platform. The videos address key topics such as:
- Protecting Personal Information — Knowing what’s okay (and not okay) to share online.
- Staying on the Platform — Understanding why keeping interactions within Roblox helps protect your privacy and safety.
- Mindful Friending — Being intentional about who you connect with and how you build trust online.
These videos reflect the shared commitment of NAMLE and Roblox to equip young people with the skills they need to navigate today’s digital spaces confidently and safely.
