Part 1: Using Visual Texts to Teach the Holocaust

In partnership with the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center (HHREC), teachers will view the documentary Testimony of the Human Spirit. Over two days, Steve Goldberg, Director of Education at HHREC, will lead a screening and discussion and share strategies for integrating the film into ELA and Social Studies Holocaust units. Featuring first-hand survivor accounts, the film offers powerful insight into history and human resilience.
