Anxhelika Deda is a freshman Honors student at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Journalism, with minors in Business of Digital Media, Justice, Law & Society, and Leadership Studies. She is a student journalist and multimedia storyteller focused on youth mental health, technology, and media literacy. Anxhelika is also a Core Storyteller with #HalfTheStory. As former Production Manager of Blue Eagle News, she led youth-driven reporting on community issues and technology policy, producing content that reached thousands of viewers. Her work has been published in the Hartford Courant, and she is a contributing reporter for the 5 Cent Cigar at school.
