Board Member: Jena Wuu

Jena Wuu is the author of Feed for Thought, a newsletter exploring how institutional experts — including doctors, scientists, researchers, educators, and public servants — can sustain trust by participating in public digital spaces with rigor and intention.

Her work examines how public trust is formed in today’s information environment, and helps experts adapt to a landscape where credibility is shaped not only by credentials, but by visibility and accessibility.

Previously, Jena spent 15 years in the consumer technology sector working at the intersection of information, trust, and public accountability. At Meta, she founded and led the company’s global information ecosystem program, partnering with governments, UN agencies, universities, and NGOs to bring authoritative public health, science, and civic information to over two billion people worldwide. Prior to that, she established Uber’s business in Europe and led its global public policy work on safety and consumer protection.

Jena’s commitment to media literacy is grounded in her experience seeing both the potential and the limitations of technology. She believes a healthy information ecosystem depends not only on how people consume information, but on who shows up to shape it.
