Visualize History with Student-Created Documentaries

KQED, National History Day, and PBS LearningMedia are offering a hands-on workshop showing how student-created documentaries can bring history to life—aligned with the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Educators will explore ready-to-use curriculum, practice video pre-production strategies, and begin a sample mini-documentary to use as a classroom model. Participants receive adaptable resources, free video tools, a modifiable slide deck, and a two-hour PD attendance letter.
