Flora Uslaner is a freshman at the University of Michigan and the co-founder of Digital Truths, a student-led initiative to educate youth in combating disinformation. In March 2024, Digital Truths worked alongside PEN America to host a two-part Media Literacy Institute for Model United Nations students. Flora served on NAMLE’s Youth Advisory Council last year and developed a resource for teachers on “Youth Perspectives on AI.” With NAMLE, Flora is committed to tackling disinformation and misinformation in our ever-changing digital age.
