Malik Harris is a First Generation College Student at Appalachian State University studying History/Social Studies Education with a Double Minor in Political Science and Leadership Studies. Malik is passionate about Media Literacy, especially civic literacy and engagement. Malik hopes to use this platform as an opportunity to serve and highlight the importance of youth civic engagement and fighting misinformation. Malik previously hosted the Inspiring YOUth Podcast, and has served on numerous local, state, and university committees.
