Make Media Literacy a Priority in Schools | Petition

Media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create, and act using all forms of communication. By signing, you show that students and adults alike deserve to learn these skills and want them taught in schools.

This petition is part of Your Media, Your Choice: Media Literacy Basics, a youth-led campaign by students serving on NAMLE’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC). While this campaign is led by students for students, we also welcome educators, administrators, higher education leaders, and community members who believe media literacy education matters.

On behalf of the YAC, we ask you to help bring media literacy to schools. Your signature helps demonstrate strong demand for media literacy education among students, educators, and communities.

Let’s make media literacy a priority for every student. Add your name and help us advocate for real change.
